Ashwin’s exit from the IPL marks the end of an era filled with craft, intelligence, and quiet dominance. He wasn’t just a spinner; he was a strategist who often turned tight matches with his subtle variations. His move reflects a new chapter one where he can play freely in overseas leagues like The Hundred or SA20, following BCCI rules that allow IPL and international retirees to participate abroad.
